Did you notice Santa Claus?

So, this relates to the show, and I don't think it's been mentioned before. I just noticed this yesterday for the first time. Remember how in Objects in Space, Jubal relates himself to Santa Claus? And Ariel, River mentions Christmas being stolen? Well, Ariel was when Early began following Serenity! Seems like there's a connection, albeit an obscure one. Interesting, no?

...well, I thought it was interesting.

I think several things in Ariel led into the proceeding episodes and on purposful and some such. So I take it you have watched each episode over and over and over and you know over again like many of us other Firefly fuzzy wuzzies.
