I am a newly minted Browncoat. For one reason or another I missed Firefly when it was on, despite being a huge Buffy/Angel fan. We picked up the series to preview before seeing the movie, after reading some rave reviews. Spent all last weekend immersed in the 'verse. I am totally over the moon over this show and have been telling everyone I can think of about it - to the point that I'm getting some strange looks. We saw the movie tonight, and despite crying some very bitter tears, I have to say it's the best show I've seen all year.
So...I felt I had to thank all of you who have been there since the beginning. Thank you for your devotion, thank you for creating the buzz that allowed this movie to be made, and thank you for keeping the love alive long enough for those of us who are late arrivals, but feeling the same spark of joy that inspired all of you in the first place, to experience this little piece of heaven.
