Where does this vehicle com from? A stripped down Hummer? A Jeep? While lying in bed this morning contemplating the meaning of the universe it hit me like a concrete block. It's Jed Clampett's truck!! Look closely, there is even a spot for Granny's rocking chair! Which got me to thinking, just what IS this show we have all been watching?! Thats right: The Beverly Hillbillies In Outerspace. Consider the characters. Book is obviously Jed (the 'Father' figure). Zoe is Ely Mae - the most beautiful woman in the whole darn galaxy who also kicks major butt. Wash is Ely's monkey (forgot his name) - the real brains of this outfit. Simon and River? Why, Mr and Mrs Drysdale of course! Inara - Aunt Pearl. KayLee - Jethrine. With out a doubt Mal is Jethro - not too bright, but with a winning smile, and totally clueless. And then there is Jayne, this is the real clincher, who else but 'Miss' Jane (!) - tall, brilliant, holding forth with philosophical ramblings that even Albert Einsteen can't understand! Serenity is the mansion in Cal-E-Fornee. And who is Granny? Niska? A Reaver? Or some mysterious creature we haven't met yet?! It boggles the mind! Well thats all for now. I'm headin out to the ceement pond to soak my fevered brain. Y'all come back now, hear! Kanto
ps Is it true that Serenity-The Movie is a remake of Pee Wee's Big Adventure? "Where is River?" "She's in the basement of the Alamo!" and so it begins!

Lol. All I know is that it came from the old mule's design. I'll have to check up again on why they changed it to a big flying hunk of mule.
