Aargh!

I was meandering through a clothing store the other day, when all of a sudden I saw them: River's boots exactly, sitting on a shelf. I was really excited; they were on sale, too, so I might be able to afford them. So there they were, sitting prettily and lustworthily on the shelf, and I was ready to buy them then and there. They had the metal plate, but that was easily removable, just held on with velcro straps.

And why am I not wearing those beauties right now? ...The smallest size the gorram things came in was US men's 9. I'm female, and that's more than just a little too large.

(If anyone is also in the Boston area with larger feet, I can tell you where to get them.)

Ohhhhh!

I *feel* for you. I LOVE those boots and would kill for a pair (well, you know, not literally - maybe an ant or other small insect).

Unfortunately, I am in another country and also have smaller feet than that.

I do sympathise, though.
