Take a look at the number of people bidding on premiere showings for Episode 3 on ebay and compare it to Serenity pre-screenings. I know they are in no way direct evidence of interest or lack of intrest in either movie. I just thought it was interesting

Could be an indication of fandom, could be more related to how long people have to wait to get their own tickets. Either way it's funny. Ep 3 tix selling for average of $20.00 just because it's opening day or First show? Or is it more about the Theatre? Still I can wait 'til Sun. to see it with friends. 4 1/2 months 'Til Serenity, I can see a little more need to see it NOW! , but it's still in it's unfinished state, as far as final FX/soundtrack. As hard as it is, I'm forced to wait. "The Inside" will distract me. Plus I have time to get/read the comics. And hopefully see the BDHs at Dragon*Con.

So one person has like 10 tickets for Chicago with the auction closing in 90 minutes for about $50.00 per pair. Figures that this is the day that I would be totally broke! And, to make matters worse, he/she lives in Wisconsin (same state I live in)!! Hell, I could drive over to pick them up!! AAAAHHHH!!! IT BURNS!!! IT BURNS!!!!
