Just an FYI to let y'all know that NASA's very own Browncoat, Steven "Swanny" Swanson has returned to the International Space Station, where he'll stay until September 11th.

And when the next Soyuz departs the station on May 13th, he'll take over as Commander of Expedition 40!

Now then, I wonder if those Firefly/Serenity DVDs he brought up on STS-117 are still there.

Is the space station new enough? I mean, it comes with a DVD player, right?

Many answers to that question....

-The question should be: is there a DVD player and TV in the space bathroom? (Oh, you think YOU wouldn't get diaratic from the nervousness of being in space, weightlessness, and meals in slime form!)

-No, but it's got one of those phonograph players with a hand crank. Oh wait, this isn't MIR. (Dude, that would be so steampunk!)

-You know all those holes in Serenity's dashboard? They're auxillary slots for other devices. Just strip the wires on the device and just tie it in. The ISS has places just like that.

Find here the Serenity you seek. -Tara Maclay
