Are the 'Evil Genius' game designers Firefly fans?

This is my first time posting a thread, so let's hope this works!

I was over at GameSpot, a website devoted to info about electronic games, and I was reading about a new game coming out called Evil Genius. In it, you play as an evil genius(obviously!)out to take over the world. You build a secret lair, hire minions, and repel attacks from secret agents and commandos from the nations of the world trying to stop you. There are a few different evil geniuses that you get to choose from to play as. Here's a screenshot of one of them that I think you'll find interesting:

Shen Yu is awfully close to Shan Yu, too close to be a coincidence I think! Looks like there are browncoats everywhere!

Multiplayer? Are you trying to waste ALL my free time, why that would be devious...

I see what you're trying to do. This is a "who has the bigger evil" thing, isn't it? Well we either destroy each other or we form a corporation, set common plans in motion for years, come near the accomplishment of ruling the world then stab each other in the back. I've betrayed/been betrayed by most everyone I know already so I welcome the new face!
