Hello to all

I was looking in the net for some manga cartoon and I came across Cowboy Bebop. I think it’ s related with the story we all love. Some points of the story match and I think Joss maybe got some ideas from there. Please share your opinions

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I love Bebop, and I agree that it has some similarities to Firefly, but if we are to believe Joss he had not seen it before creating the show. I would more suspect he had seen Outlaw Star, especially because of the "girl in the box" revealed at the end of its first episode too.

Yeppers, although no direct inspiration from it, Bebop certainly has a lot of the same kind of flavor, although less westerny - the Jazz soundtrack is nice though.

The original was stellar but for a real treat track down the Anime Legends Cowboy Bepop Remix complete collection - no new content but a much better remastering job with full Dolby 5.1 support in both languages and a ton of special features.

Also, despite the animation being a bit dated, you might also like Planetes, although "harder" in a sci-fi physics kind of way, the story and character interactions definately have their own wacky hijinks flavor any FF Fan might appreciate.
