Great news for Browncoats everywhere! As you have probably heard, the one and only Joss Whedon will attend the Los Angeles CSTS screening. Now, even if you don’t live in LA, you will be able to experience this amazing event, because portions of the event will be webcast live!

The LA event is also going to have many other exciting guests. Jessica Neuwirth and Amanda Sullivan from Equality Now will be in attendance, as will Felicia Day, Michael Fairman, and Joey Spiotto!

ComiCenter LIVE, the online podcast talk show that focuses on the comic book and entertainment industries, will be broadcasting live video from the event. They will be interviewing attendees and special guests, and capturing the reactions from the crowd on hand.

To access the livestream, go to www.GeekWeek.com/live starting at 6:30 PST on June 25.

The previous show was recorded June 14th and archived June 18, so there might be a wait before this week's show is archived on youtube. But it is available now at

GREAT! I live right around the corner from the theater, but a) I don't have a credit card, so I couldn't order the tickets online, and b) I wouldn't have had enough anyway for the ticket and any memorabilia (T-shirt, whatever) that I'd have had to take away with me!

I'm gonna take a stroll over there around 4:00, so I can at least shmooze with my local Browncoat brethren as they start to trickle in. I can finally wear my CSTS 2007 T-shirt and have somebody on the street actually recognize it!
