I'm not much for HD TV but I just saw "Serenity" in HD, the way it was made and intended to be seen.
The special effects, the fight scenes, the ship, outer space, Summer Glau, Summer Glau's bare feet, they all look stunning in high definition!

JOSEPHUS

Whenever SyFy runs Serenity they butcher it to make room for commercials. Some of my favorite scenes are always cut. For example, the scene with the line "I aim to misbehave." by Mal is always cut. Zoe's line, "You know what a hero is?" (paraphrased) is cut. And on and on. I simply can't watch it for that reason alone.

However, I do record it on my DVR in hope that by doing so it will help the ratings.

I noticed. Every time I find it on cable somewhere, they cut out big chunks of my favorite scenes.

It's annoying.

On the other hand - damn! It's good to see Serenity anywhere!

Agreed. It is annoying that they remove some great lines and scenes just to fit in commerical spots. Makes me appreciate my dvd all the more.
