How 'Nikita' led to 2 more Firefly DVDs

So, I preordered the second season of Nikita from Sam Goodie at Mall of America. I realized I didn't want to fight the traffic going to the new Ikea (making a normal 10 minute trip a 2 hour trip) and phoned MoA to ask if I could pay extra shipping and have them mail it to me.

The clerk told me that they didn't have any copies so ... I went to three stores last night looking for a copy of Nikita.

At Borders, the clerk finally had pity on me and told me the reason no one had them is that there are licensing problems and that only a handful got out in the world before the shipments were stopped.

This, understandably, depressed me so I soothed the depression the only way I could. I bought two more sets of Firefly DVD's. This makes four.

I'm a Firefly addict and can't stop giving the DVDs away.

I think it is great you are making gifts of the DVD sets Knibs. I have made gifts of 3 sets so far myself. Got three converts out of it so it was worth every penny.

I think that the more we get the word and the DVDs into the hands of the uninitiated the better the movie will do.

Hi. My name is Beatle and I am also an addict.

I have purchased another DVD set myself. I loaned my one set to a friend at work and he loved it so he bought his own and then loaned mine out to someone else (who did the same).

I have no idea who has my original set now.

My name is Mike and I also am a Firefly-a-holic.

I just purchased my second set at Best Buy this weekend. I almost started having heavy duty Firefly withdrawl tremors when I got to my third store and I couldn't find them.... Just as I was about to leave though I took one last look at the shelf and there they were, 4 glorious copies, on the very bottom shelf where only smurfs, "the littles", or some other lifeform only 3 apples high would see them...

So doing my best mission impossible I covertly relocated those copies to a much more acceptable location

If I weren't 18 and having limited money, I would totally own multiple sets. Unfortunately, I have to save for college and therefore can only afford one set of each (I can't wait for Wonderfalls! YAY!).
