I like the Serenity movie soundtrack well enough, but not having Greg do the score was a big, fat mistake.

I always wondered why Greg Edmonson wasnt back on board for Serenity, disapointing in a way cos the sound and atmosphere created for the show wasnt present and we all missed it terribly.

Either his contracts clashed with prooduction dates or the studio told Whedon to go for a bigger named composer in David Newman for a big budget movie i have no idea, unless anyone else does.
