Just a silly little thought. ... If it's one of those already-been-discussed-to -death-threads
I apologize.
What if the characters had to change roles? Who would you put in "different shoes"? I for one, think it would be kinda cool to see Zoe as the Captain ......
Maybe put Simon in Inara's role (hmmmm simon in the sponge bath scene

What do you think?

John F. Kennedy famously described Washington as a city of Southern efficiency and Northern charm...well, much as I'd like to see Simon take a sponge bath once a day and twice on Sundays, I think he (and, for different reasons, Zoe) wouldn't make it through Companion training for utter lack of interest/ability in giving people what they want.

I'm sure most of us think of our workplaces as Serenity where River is the captain...on a bad day. And your HMO assigned Jayne as your gatekeeper.
