This is probably as active as I've been on this forum in a very long time... Oh, well. This has to be shared.

Thomas Dekker says it's a "secret," but that they might be working on a direct-to-dvd Sarah Connor Chronicles movie. This brings out the "SQUEE!" in me, but I can't do a happy dance at work. People will think I'm weird. Wait, it's probably too late for that... Whatever.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

A direct to dvd movie would be good. Like to see them continue the story in some form. Feel like there was a lot left to tell, but the show had it pretty rough with it's time slot.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

He's been saying this for a while now. I saw him at a convention in Sep 09 and he brought it up then. Hopefully there's actual progress. And for something like this, what's the benefit in keeping things under wraps? Wouldn't you WANT publicity/buzz/fan attention? This isn't something like what Avatar was.

Didn't the franchise get sold between Sept 09 and now? Wouldn't that put a pretty big bump in the road for any plans made before the sale? I'd think it would be a whole new process of getting the new owners to sign off on a new project.

I'd like to see almost a reboot of the Terminator franchise. Don't need to lose the original or T2 but do some time travel magic and reset everything to after T2.

Yup, rights were sold, so chances are very very slim. Dekker saying this is going to happen is about as reliable as McG's claims about what he's doing in the next movie - neither has ANY say anymore.
