I liked it.

Though that was the first time I've ever heard piracy blamed for Serenity's lack of box office success. Usually it's all Universal's fault for not advertising more. Even though I saw plenty of commercials for Serenity when it was in theaters and I don't even watch all that much TV.

It must say a lot for a series that it still gets possitive reviews after being off the air for years and only had 10 episodes that were ever broadcast.

Serenity did not fail at the box office in Australia because of piracy. I think it was mainly the way it was marketed. In Oz it got practically no promotion or hype. No one other than us (the fans) knew about the actors and their brilliance.I believe If the actors had been hyped more(e.g. appearances on talk shows more promos put on at times other than late at night when most people are sleeping) People would have warmed to them and more would have gone to see the movie. when I ask my friends who didn't see Serenity when it came out why not they always say it's because they didn't know much about the actors or the story. Now of course they wish they had seen it on a big screen.

Be sure to tell them about Can't Stop The Serenity. If there's a showing near you they can still see it on the big screen.
