Today the IMDB has a poll to vote for your favorite cancelled show....go there and give Firefly a vote (you have to register).

Right now its in 5th place behind Family guy, Twin Peaks, and Angel.

Alright, we have moved ahead of Twin Peaks. Now, since the vote for Family Guy is obviously skewed in some nefarious manner, and the category "Other" is just plain stupid and shouldn't exist, that makes Joss' shows, Angel and Firefly, the de facto 1-2 rankings in the poll. That should be a good birthday present.

Done. Firefly is in real solid fourth place now, but "other" is #2 which undoubtedly includes everything from the Dukes of Hazard to Alf. So really Firefly is #3.

Well, as of 9:00 PM Pacific, Firefly is fourth in the poll. However, as I mentioned on the Official Serenity Fan Site (what is that, the OSFS?), I feel that the Family Guy votes should be ignored, as Cartoon Network, last I heard, has ordered a new run of episodes, thus, it is no longer canceled, which makes the Number Two spot now Number One, and Number one is... "Other"? Heh. By my Beltway Insider Number Crunching, Angel is Number One, and Firefly Number Two. For my next trick, I'll get an accurate election ballot count out of the state of Florida....
