Hmmm...the deuce, you say! I wonder if Hell's Kitten knows about this. I wonder if she would care. I wonder if I spelled "deuce" properly, but I'm too lazy to navigate the 5 feet between me and my dictionary. Kinda makes me wonder what use I am...

But, hey - cool post! I always get a charge out of seeing SteamPunk mods and such. If it hadn't been for poor Sean Connery and the SteamPunk-y elements, my opinion of League of Extraordinary Gentelmen would be even lower than it is. And that's pretty gorram low.

Funny word, 'extraordinary'...like, "My friend, Oscar, is not just ordinary - he's extra ordinary!" Not so impressive when you look at it that way, eh?

Man - do I digress or what?

Still...what would Rorschach do?

I will post some steampunk goodness in a month or two, after I finish a project.

There was an excellent article a little while back in the NYTimes on steampunk and suchlike. Ah, here it is: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/08/fashion/08PUNK.html

Definitely a worthwhile community. Also, steampunk blogs got me an excellent deal on a brown suede trenchcoat ($45, specifically) a few months ago. So three cheers.

"See, morbid and creepifying, I got no problem with, long as she does it quiet-like." No really, I work in biomedicine. Quiet is better.

Interesting project I've found, by a Professor outside time: www.johnskylar.com
