or you could just reset the tv so it doesn't go above a certain level( check the manual you can do it) and then act really surprised that it won't get louder. Say it must have defaulted to factory setting and if it isn't loud enough that's odd since it's set for an average persons hearing.....
Don't expect much though... in my experience most people will go a really long way to avoid dealing with getting older... they squint instead of getting reading glasses, turn up the volume instead of realizing their hearing is going etc.
Your other choice is to call the cops ( say you're a neighbor) and complain about the volume. Let the cops show up and tell them they have to turn it down.

Unhappy Monday to all! I think I have an idea of how to stimulate the economy. Obama should declare anyone who spends some set amount of money $100, $200 whatever gets to take the day off of work. How many people would go out and spend spend spend for free days off?
