20th anniversary

20 years ago at this date and time I was being slated for surgery to be put back together from my many pieces. I have to say, the frankenstein qualities that earned me the nickname "scarface" fade over the years, the scars remain. No regrets, I was a lucky man. Very. I must be part cat. I've been outside of the range of stats we call "alive" four times now. I have no temptation to test that 9 lives theory, at all.

For those less fortunate, all the best, Perhaps tomorrow's stem cell research order lifting the ban on all research and funding will bring hope. Anything is possible, I'm finally getting the feeling that we are living in the science fiction movie that my childhood said the 21st century would be. Just looking back. What a long strange trip it's been.
