I just posted this on youtube.

Serenity is modelled in Blender and is 'low poly'. Anyone up for doing a fan film, I would love to be involved.

There are some long posts, but it will give you a good idea of where we are at and what we want to accomplish.
We need some CGI of the IAV Dortmunder for establishing shots and to show the launch of two missles towards a planet side target.

If this sounds potentially interesting, we'll email some more info and go from there.

Looks good. I would love to help. I will start some modelling of the IAV Dortmunder. Are the best pics in episode 1? Do you know of any plans? Otherwise I can publish some rough models and take comments.

I just PM'd you with my email address to exchange more specific info.

This is a good project to do long distance because the shots of the I.A.V. Dortmunder don't have to mix with other footage.
We need about a minute of footage that will be edited in during post-production.

For pics of the Dortmunder class Intersteller Alliance Vessel, three episodes are helpful.
The Serenity pilot, Bushwacked and Safe all have shots that show the Alliance "space-city" looking vessels.
I need to break out the DVD's and see if I can get some screencaps that show the look I'm going for.

Also by email, I'll send you the pieces of the script that describe the Dortmunder's "role" in the story, "Fool Me Twice".
That way you'll know what the establishing shots are meant to...establish.
