I was watching the special features on my "It's Always Sunny in Pillidelphia" DVD, and in the end credits, it gave a special thanks to Morena Baccarin (among others). I asked myself, "why?"

And then I went to IMDB. Glenn Howerton (who writes, produces, and is a main character in "It's Always Sunny") has a small role in Serenity. He plays the guy who tries to pull a gun during the bank hiest - and also the guy who Mal shoots for weighing down the mule.

Then I remembered. in the commentary, that Joss said "Mule had five seats!" and said that Mal shot him, because Morena used to date him, and he didn't need him getting in the way.

I always thought it was a joke, but I'm starting to think otherwise.

Does anyone know if Morena Baccarin used to date Glenn Howerton? Or is there another reason she's in the special thanks section on the "Philly" DVD?

Funny, because I somehow just realized this over the weekend, when I was rewatching Serenity for the umpteenth time. I realized the guy trying to be the hero at the holdup looked familiar so looked him up; sure enough, Glenn Howerton.

I've no idea if he dated Morena or not, but maybe they're just friends or neighbors, and she helped him get the li'l movie gig.
