Unpublished Serenity Novel?

I'm still flying in 2021. How about you?

Has anyone heard of an unpublished Serenity novel? I heard that an original novel was written and ready to go but the plug got pulled.

Help?

Is it true? I thought we would be arse deep in Firefly/Serenity novels by now.

Joss? Writing much?

We have the Serenity novelization by Keith R.A. DeCandido

A very good read.

There was the possiblity of 3 novels but Joss does not have the time or has not wanted to take the time to write one or read and approve one.

NY Times Bestselling Author Steven Brust wrote a Serenity novel because he loves Firefly/Serenity and had a story he had to write. He tried to get it published and said if he couldn't he would release it as Fanfiction. Which he did.
