After watching OiS the last time, and given the plight of current TV, I had an idea for a new series that would be a throwback to the golden age of television. It would star Sean Maher and Summer Glau and be about the adventures of an anthropomorphic transport ship 500 years in the future. The title? "My Sister the Space Ship."

Hey, if it worked for NBC in the mid '60s, it can work again! I've been thinking about pitching it to Fox; do you think they would be interested?

Well, maybe, if you added 20 guys who all think they're there to complete for the hand of River, but who are instead forced to live on moldy protein and cicadas and are routinely voted off into the vacuum of space by the noncorporeal River (who will make her decisions with the help of trusted friends Kaylee and Inara and the votes of more than 70 earths). But they've probably already got something like that for the fall.
