has it been pointed out how much firefly situation mirrors that of SAAB? fox gave up on it also, but luckily we have DVD's for Firefly.

At least S:AAB got to have a full season before getting axed. Which let them resolve the Nathan/Kylen story arc. IMO their timeslot (7pmEST SUNDAY) was even crappier than Firefly's. They were ALWAYS getting pre-empted by the football games.

Actually, that's similar to Firefly and baseball, now that I think about it.
