I went to the taping last night. The following is my post on the OB

I got to sit and watch Alan work for 5 hours for free! It was awesome.

It was a very hot day about 100. I didn't have a ride so I had to take the bus. It was a 2hr and 45 minutes ride using 3 buses. The bus is not that bad when you're looking forward to where you're going. I left at 1:00 pm and arrived at 3:45 pm. I grabbed something to eat and walked the last few blocks.

I was alone. No one was able to go after the date change. As we enter the Warner Brother's Studio where Chuck also films we were greeted by Zachary Levi. He was driving by in a golf cart and said,"Welcome to Warner Brothers." That was a nice way to start. Later Zach stopped by the set to talk to Alan, they hugged.

The MC for us to keep the audience entertained between takes was great. He said it was like a reunion. Many of the Will and Grace crew were working on this Pilot. Still unnamed.

The show was jammed backed with funny. Alan of course was hilarious. He really is gifted. The cast was good and it was filmed on the Friends Stage, Stage 24. There was a lot of great energy.

What I learned is- Love is not a pie. :P

I don't have the words to describe the show. Its a formula, predictable with a great rhythm like a dance and really really funny. I hope it gets picked up. I still think Alan is too good for TV but this is a good showcase for his talents. I miss seeing him on a regular basis.

Lets send some Browncoat Mojo for it to be picked up.

Oh and I did stay until the end. I was able to get a hug. He knew Serenity was in the house. :)

The show is still unnamed.

Glad you posted this. I knew Alan had a pilot coming up, but hadn't heard much about it. Nice to know it's been shot. Hope to see the show on the small screen soon.

May have been on the losing side, still not convinced it was the wrong one.

(amazing how you - that is me - can take our BDH's for granted) i was watching wonderboys (for the trillionth time) and i managed to forget alan was in it!!!! the power of his transformations! oh and still funny o'course:)

Alan has the ability to steal scene without meaning to. He just shines.

Did you see the CSI Episode where he played a pedophile? He was really really good. Kinda scary and sad.

That was when I started thinking of him as brilliant. He is Oscar caliber.

Derek and Drew are the friends Drew is the gay one. They are both in relationships and their significant others tell each not to tell the other about something personal. Of course they do since they are life long friends. The sigs find out and they have to explain why they had to share.

It was like Will and Grace but in realtionships and I think Derek and Drew are closer than Will and Grace.

I SAW THAT!! my dad and i turned it to csi and he left the room, and all of a sudden i saw alan and i screamed "IT'S WASH!!!!!!" it was kinda scary and sad but he was still good as u said. i never got to see the end of that ep, what happened?
