One of the VPs......"I noticed something interesting. After the release of the movie Serenity, the sales of Firefly really jumped." The big boss...."Na, that just means Joss bought them for his friends and family. He does seem to have a
shit load of friends, though." The next meeting, one of the VPs says, "I have been crushing the numbers and found that a second season of Firefly would at very least, produce a modest profit." The big boss, "We aren`t interested in a one season show with a small profit." The fly on the wall,"Morons, the dvd sales would give you at least 60% profit on your investment." Unfortunately nobody heard the fly. Six months later at the next meeting.....The big boss, "Well, how are the dvd sales of American Idol going." One of the VPs, "We haven`t sold a one." The big boss, "How can that be, the Idol had great ratings. We made 2 million copies and not even last years winner bought one."
