Does anyone know when the new BDM dvd is released in the UK as i know it hits atmo soon in the USA but have heard nothing about the UK.

??? I thought you were posting a release date.

Haven't yet noticed a release date for Serenity Collector's Edition in Aussieland or UK. The Aussies just got an Ultimate Editon which did not include the Cast Commentary.

The "BDM" Collector's Edition was released in August 2007 in the US. It looks like this.

Firefly is being released in Blu-Ray high-def possibily Fall? 2008 (USA)

Maybe that is what Universal is waiting for...To release Serenity Collector's Edition in Blu-Ray. They are waiting for some reason. Maybe they are waiting for everyone else in the world (non-USA) to buy region free DVD players. There is money to be made.

Me too. And I paid extra postage so I got it real damn quick as well.
I don't know of a UK release date either.

Putting the movie on BluRay sounds like a good reason for the delay now that the format war has been won. I would think that the commentary Jewel recently mentioned doing for Firefly would also mean the series will be out on BluRay.
I couldn't see the point of Fox releasing the series again on normal DVD, but who knows.
