I will not go into details...cause it would just make me cry...but my #3 disc got damaged. Anyone else out there got a partial set and would be willing to let me buy the one I need or know where I can get one? I will if needs be buy another complete set..but thought I would try this first.

I just bought a partial set (missing disk 4) off Ebay to replace my disk 2.

When it arrives (whenever that'll be) I'll have an extra first and third disk. They're slightly used, so I'll re-check them and let you know.

I think there was also a seller on Ebay offering individual disks, but I can't recall what he had (disk 2 wasn't among them).

Given the QC issues on some DVD boxsets (not just Firefly; I've heard of troubles elsewhere), maybe someone oughtta set up a disk-exchange for this sorta thing.

My order arrived today, and all three disks seem to play fine (I only watched a bit of "Jaynestown" 'cause I'm on a clock at the moment, but all the menus work as they should).

Hit me with a PM and I'll send disk 3 your way. I got the set for cheap (cheap enough that if I divide by four I'm into the amounts you'd find between sofa cushions), so you can just pay shipping and we'll call it even.

Nice to know there are still good people in the 'verse!

My boxset was faulty to begin with so I took it back and they exchanged it - seems there are often problems with them (not just Firefly, lots of boxsets).

So glad it all worked out - don't like to think of people without their FF fix...!
