the movie is not the Series. Only the facts have been changed, to irritate the innocent; the names of the actors and characters remain the same

I've been thinking about this for a long time. NetRat gave me the clue that the time was finally ripe.

Thanks for the post , YT ! I started a thread on this subject over a month ago , and a lot of other folk also have a powerful need to see Firefly in the really superior high-def Blu-Ray format...SHINY !

Incidentally , I can never see your handle 'YT' without also thinkin' 'YT-1300'...Part of my programming , I 'spect...

Well, Fox has been doing Blu Ray all along, so the death of HD-DVD likely has little effect. As far as I know, Fox hasn't started doing any TV on Blu ray, yet.

A month ago , the place-holder ad at Amazon did not include the " signup to be notified when this product becomes
available " Link...But a lot of folk added it to their Wish-List's , anyway , and a lot of other folk went to the Amazon site in the meantime , and searched for " Firefly Blu-Ray "...

Folk who " believe unreasonably " find their wishes turnin' to horses , eventually...

Soon , we'll all be eatin' steak !

The effect it had is that, regardless of 20th Century Fox's intentions, Amazon.com has created a link (which I included in my post, above) for customers to request notification when the item becomes available. Amazon communicates the results of such polls to the studios.
