Just wondering if anyone would be interested in a Firefly inspired comic strip? Wouldn't want to be TOO exactly Firefly and get a cease and desist or anything.

Still in the early planning stages, but here are some sketches of possible characters.

I'll ask the artist about having someone chinese in the crew.

Niga is at least inthe early ideas and experimental computer interface that was liberated from somewhere. Basically a portable Mr Universe.

I'm not so sold on that idea. It seems too Red Dwarf or Heart of Gold to me. I guess it would depend on how well off the ship was.

Seems to me that they could have stolen it and found it useful enough to not sell it.

Or, if it has enough personality, it could be running from the Alliance and found a place to hide.

Lots of plot possibilities that would wind up with cool advanced tech that aren't currently seen away from the center planets.

Well I think it is a little of both, but high end computers are not really uncommon. But I would suspect Niga is pretty rare, but no the ship won't be well to do. More like Serenity or Millenium Falcon.
