I was very upset about Carnivale. More upset than when they cancelled Firefly (only because I hadn't even heard of it!! ).

Carnivale may have been too weird for the Sopranos crowd. But it had Clancy Brown! And the guy from Twin Peaks! And the woman from Maude as a snake charmer (not Bea Arthur)! HBO seems to be dumping all their period dramas which is a real shame. Deadwood and Rome being the two others that are no longer.
