STONEARCH

I highly recommend it! Alan Tudyk is awesome in it!

I've seen it twice, and taken folks with me both times who have no knowledge of Firefly/Serenity. EVERYONE I've taken LOVED it, and one even proclaimed it the funniest movie they've seen in years, and immediately called her sister to tell her she had to see it.

My sister paid Alan a great compliment without realizing it, by saying of him "There just aren't any American comedians that funny these days". A double compliment because, 1. he's IS American, so his accent is spot on in this film, and 2. the obvious compliment of his talent!

Honestly, I laughed so hard, I was wheezing after the film. LOL Alan's facial expressions are ridiculous, and great timing on his lines too. I can't wait to own this one!

*two thumbs up*

STOWEAWAY

Okay, I have to admit, I laughed so hard during a few scenes that I actually snorted. I was trying not to outright guffaw since most of the other moviegoers seemed pretty reserved. Instead I ended up sounding like a little piglet!

It's not possible to go through the whole movie without laughing out loud several times.

The hat bit was the funniest. Alan's a comedic genius!

Not sure if I posted this to this or to another
board. A friend, completely non-Browncoat and
wouldn't know Alan if he crawled up and nibbled
her left knee, lives in a good place to see all
kinds of movies in theaters. She wrote to me:

"...went to 'Death at a Funeral' last night and
i was weak afterward from laughing so much - i
had drunk a Dr. Pepper (from nearby In-n-Out -
this was Mercado theater just after sunset -
since i won't go to movie earlier) cuz i had no
caffeine - it's a wonder the seat was not wet
when i left."

I'm hoping this and a few Fillion appearances on
Desperate Housewives will soften her up for a
session of "Firefly."
