As one might expect, with the release of the Serenity CE the sales of Firefly have shot up again. For the week of 10 Sept there were 41,000 copies of the series sold bringing in $1.14 million. Unfortunately, I do not have news on sales number of the CE.

I've been to the-numbers.com site as well --
but could not find a grand total for sales of
Firefly DVDs. I heard the 500,000 numbers back in 2005 when the BDM was released. Anyone know how many DVD sets / cashy money the BDS has made so far total?

;) Yes it is. Because their website doesn't go back far enough yet to show when Serenity was in the top 30 before.

I think they are hoping to add older data to Serenity's count at some time. That would be shiny.
