New Browncoat's musical question

Bought the series DVDs last Friday and I'm hooked! Why Fox let this show go is beyond me.
Anyway, I have a question. The soundtrack is awesome (bought it Saturday), and I was wondering if anyone out there can suggest any other albums that have tracks similar to the Main Title. It's an odd question, but there ya go!

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

You should get the Bedlam Bards cd On the Drift: Music Inspired by Firefly and Serenity.

One of my current favorite performers is Steve Earle, whose music is a blend of country, rock, blues and folk. One cd in particular, Train a Comin' has several songs that always remind me of Firefly.

"The Mercenary Song" is about soldiers of fortune during the Mexican revolution led by Pancho Villa, but it is easy to imagine Jayne among that group. One line in particular - "We fight for no country, but we'll die for good pay." - seems to fit him to a T.

"Ben McCulloch" is a general during the Civil War, but the narrator of the song is one of his foot soldiers, and it is similar to what some Browncoat soldiers probably thought of Colonel Obrin, from the story of the big mustache told by Mal and Zoe in "The Message."

"Northern Winds" is an acoustic guitar solo which to my ear sounds remarkably similar to the Ballad of Serenity theme as it was incorporated into the closing credits of the BDM.
