I don't know how much this movie is out there. But if you are a fan of slasher flics and classic horror This movie is a real throwback. Where Slither gave me a great feeling of a new generation of old creature movies, Hatchet was simply an 80's slasher movie (one which cameo's Robert Englund and Tony Todd and stars "Jason" himself Kane Hodder) made with new camera equipment etc. No CGI at all. The real "Magic".

The fact that this was not a remake and was Independent makes this seem like it would be a Browncoat-esque skirting on the edges type of thing.

I saw this at a screening here in boston. I just started at Emerson as a Film major and felt pretty hopeless about what i could do with no money and no real connections. But when Adam Green and the other cast/crew members got up and started talking i got this feeling of hey, maybe i can do this.

Aw well. This was way too long a post. especially for a lurker like me but just wanted to get the word out and I hope that you guys support this non-bigwig production and go see it when it comes out september 7th.
