Has there ever been any type of organized boycott on Fox.

Hey I've got my 2x2 and posterboard ready to go..

I think on the origional run, the Browncoats opted to thank the advertisers who were supporting Firefly, and afterwards they wrote letters. All for nothing, of course. FUX was already out of the picture because 1) Joss asked for the rights to his show back so he could shop it elsewhere and 2) he said he wouldn't want to work with those

s ever again (that, at least, is the lore). The well-meaning flans behind the efforts didn't know that, of course, and they did an excellent job. They did an even better job buying box sets and getting the word out. I'm in their debt for supporting the 'verse long enough for Serenity to be made, or I may never have found this wonderful story. The fight continues with getting the word out and buying Serenity.
Tempting as it may be, boycotts are not the answer. Buy movies. The Collector's Edition is out in two days. Get a copy for everyone you know.

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
