Chinese cussing is high-larious

Hey there! This my official "hello post" I guess. I've posted a few replies here and there before, and since you folks seem the likeable sort I figured I could afford to say hi!

That, and I also need some clues. I tend to get lost among the numerous abbreviation that are popping up all over these forums (BDM, BDH & the gang). As much as it ashames me to admit it, I can't figure out what they are refering to :-( Can one of you shed some light on that? Or is there a thread for this?

PS: I am not a native english speaker, so I sincerely hope that you people can figure out what it is I am asking

Since I can never leave, I might as well learn the jargon!

Important people don't do field work.

Well...anything preceded by BD most likely means "Big Damn" As in Big Damn Movie and Big Damn Heroes.

First of all, welcome aboard.
I believe you get a coat and some strawberries for joining up or something. I don't know, someone else does it.

Anyhow, the abbreviations are pretty simple, BDH stands for 'Big Damn Heroes' you might remember that Zoe said it in 'Safe'. The phrase caught on.
BDM is 'Big Damn Movie' and almost anything BH* starts with Big Damn.

Fear not Mobbex, your English is better than a lot of folks around here that are native speakers. You are perfectly easy to understand.
As Pez has already defined BDM and BDH for you, I should tell you to be on the look out for BDS and BDT. Big Damn Sequel, and Big Damn Trilogy. At this point they are but hopes. But we may have a chance if the upcoming Serenity, Special Edition does as well as we all hope it does.
By the way, where are you from? You have learned our silly and confusing language well.

I think people have covered the BD explanation, so I'll just add one more occurance. BDCE is Big Damn Collectors Edition, which set to be released in the US on August 21st. Don't know about available outside of US.
