Firefly Homage Movie..........To become New TV Series

Hello fellow Firefly fans,

I made a short movie when I was in film school 2 years ago. It pays homage to Mr. Whedon's masterpiece Firefly. I had a blast shooting it. Budget was $200.

Anyway we are using this movie as a proof of concept for a TV show that we plan on pitching to SciFi. I DO have an agent and we are working up a presentation package. My ultimate wish would be to get permission from Mr. Whedon to write a series that exists in the Firefly universe. Kind of like Firefly: The Next Generation. Unfortunately I cannot discuss details on the series, but I wanted to show you all the little short that may very well end up being a scene in one of our episodes.
