We are pleased to announce "News Of The 'Verse"--a site exclusively for projects, events, and news relating to the Firefly/Serenity 'Verse. With this new fan service, you can be informed of the latest developments in the community without having to constantly check multiple sites! And for those that don't frequent fan sites often, we offer a RSS feed so you can stay informed, without even having to visit the site.

Hey, The Organize the Revolution thread has its first project up! Thanks everybody!!

Thanks for the vets advice and thanks to all of you, vet and newbie, who worked hard getting this up.

We want everybody, especially everybody who posted or lurked on the thread, to come on over and check it out. Tell us what you like and what else we need to do. And, best of all, submit stories about your favorite Firefly happenings.

Oh, and tell your friends who are fans but not fansite fanatics to hook up to the RSS feed and they can just check out the latest Firefly stuff without having to search all over the internet.

There is a whole section devoted to Firefly websites--over 75 sites! Make sure your favorites are included and drop me a line scolding me if I missed yours. I'll fix it. I promise.

Excellent work! The sight looks beautiful.

Just a few questions for you. I do the newsletter for the 76th Battalion and was hoping to get the ok from the CO and XO to do an article for you guys on what the 76th has been up to and what our immediate plans are. Sort of an 'official' announcement on your site for our plans to march on Dragon*Con.

Does that sound like what you're looking for? Do you have a length limit? What sort of style would you like it in: magazine article with interviews or a shorter version with just facts?

We'd love a post from you. You're welcome to submit one of any length. Probably you'll get your most readers at no longer than the fansite article. But go for it.

Now, our Regulators (that's the group that formed from the Organize the Revolution thread) are also going to be doing a newsletter (within the next month?) and would love an interview etc. article with photos etc. But a picture and a shorter version with the facts sounds just right for the News of the Verse.

I can't wait to see what you all are up to in the 76th!

PS I snagged your link to the PA Browncoats. Thanks I've posted it to the fan site list!

I'd limit it to what is currently going on, and what the plans are for the relatively immediate future. Then send us other stuff as it comes up. That way, things will have a *much* less chance of "falling through the cracks".

Oh, and make sure to include a link to your home-page and a link to where the current discussion is going on. Gotta send people somewhere

I've shot off an e-mail to the CO and we'll see where it goes from there. Don't wanna write it without his permission.

Thanks for the tips. I'll keep it in mind.

I've been in contact with the newsletter people already because I've been running the Marching Orders newsletter for the 76th already. I've offered some help and got some responses back. :)

I used the links and emailed to the Signal already and am waiting on confirmation from FireflyTalk to post to them.

I love FireflyTalk and, as soon as I get my bandwidth issues solved, I'll probably be a fan of the Signal. I can enjoy getting some chores done while staying connected to my addiction.
