the new TV Guide(June4-10) lists new summer shows. Under heartland(pg56) the doctors nurse girlfriend is played by non other than our lovely companion.

It sounds like a show I would never want to see. But I hope its a huge hit and Morena goes on to greater fame from there...then makes a new series of Firefly.

The doctor's ex-wife is played by the lovely Kari Matchett. I don't know of a Firefly connection for her, but some may remember her as a regular player on the "Nero Wolfe" series that ran on A&E a few years back.

ETA: I take it back! She does have a Firefly connection. She was in several episodes of Tim Minear's "Wonderfalls" as Jaye's sister's girlfriend.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Kari Matchett has two second degree connections with "Firefly." She was Sharon Tyler's bisexual lover on "Wonderfalls," which was executive produced by Tim Minear.

More recently she has been on a couple of episodes of "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," which co-stars Sarah Paulson, the doctor in the Miranda holographic message in Serenity.

Not sure yet another doctor drama is going to be something I watch. I may tune in to check out Morena, but doubt I will be a fan.
