Wheres our Firefly MMO?

I'm always lurking through the deepest corners of the 'verse, or net in this matter, looking for any updates on the Firefly MMO, and theres been nothing. Just interviews with the Multiverse devs, and barely do they mention anything about Firefly.

So, does anyone know if this thing is being made or not? Its really bugging me. Hell, I'm willing to quit WoW just to play a Firefly MMO.

Anyone know whats going on with it at all?

It is WAY too early for there to be anything substantial. Look for something official some time next year. Right now they probably don't even have the 'script' done, let alone any artwork or animation process at all. Give them time so it gets done right; you know how unhappy we'll all be if they mess it up

I don't think that they've even contracted a development team to work on it yet never-mind producing anything.

Right now, they are probably still in the politics phase. This is slow. Give them a break. They are after all, only administrators

Err, I think you mean Miner 2049er... the predecessor to Jet Set Willy, Manic Miner was a based on that. The difference here it's spread over loads of interconnected screens, the original game you had to collect loads of objects spread about the place to complete it. In the online game, there are a number of different game modes... tag is pretty fun. Just three controls - left, right and jump.

Been a laugh explaining to other players that "Jayne ain't a girl - I got man parts!"

Have you tried the Role Playing game yet? The one in book form? See I've never RP'd before, but I got a bunch of friends that do, so knowing that I'm a sucker for all things FireFly, they tried to get me into this.

It's pretty fun, but they got all pissy when they found out I made my character a seriel killer. I bet THAT option wont be in the MMO.
