Inactive RPG Sites...

Hey, all!

I've been updating Jaynesbunk (Yeah, yeah... a year has passed. Where did go?!) and in the process noticed that ALOT of Firefly/Serenity Roleplay sites have been abandoned.

Nothing wrong with abandonment; we all get busy, forget to update, didn't get enough players to make a go, etc etc. But some of these abandoned sites have been seriously smut-spammed.

I'm worried about the impression that's going to leave on newcomers looking for Firefly sites, and on game-sites in general if they turn up and find nothing but pages of "Brittany Spears Hot Naked!" etc. (A few sites I found were literally covered with adult picts linked to porn sites!)

I'd like to ask folk who started Firefly RPGs, Forums, etc, and then had to abandon for whatever reason, to go back and check on them. Pretty please?

Let's leave newcomers to our 'Verse with a great impression, instead of Brittany Naked HotHOt..not that there's anything WRONG with Brittany Naked HOtHot... I'm just not sure it leaves a good impression on new Browncoats, is all. Thanks, all!
