Need some webspace for Firefly project

The Firefly mod for Escape Velocity: Nova is in need of some webspace. About 200Mb worth. Bandwidth usage will be relatively low.

I'd buy my own, but all the plans I've found offer far more space than I need (or not nearly enough), so I figured I'd first ask to see if any of you fine folks had some to spare.

Let me know!

What exactly does that 200MB comprise of? Is it one file to download or...?

But, have you checked out places like sourceforge or berlios? They both have a limit of 100MB. BUT, the latter explicitly states that more space can be requested. They're both free btw

It's two archives. Each individually is under 100Mb, but one is the Mac version and one is the Windows version.

I suppose I could get by with only one of the archives, and just make the downloaders convert it themselves. I'll check out those suggestions.

I don't think Sourceforge or Berlios are quite what I want. All the various licenses and rights-type stuff strike me as being far too official-ish for a project that does, after all, use Fox- and Universal-owned material. I think it's covered under fair use, but I'm not certain enough about that to attach any kind of license to it, open source or not.

I can understand that.

The only concern I'd have is those file sizes. 200MB isn't exactly small. And with limited bandwidth...

Have you tried asking Haken? He's offered to host fan vids in the past.
