According to Box office mojo, Waitress has passed the $1 million dollar mark. 116 theaters this weekend. More next weekend.

A good sign for Waitress
Still in the original 4 theaters Week 3. I think US theaters are only required to keep a movie for two weeks.

America loves a winner!

I heard some very good reviews for 'Waitress' while listening to the radio Monday. A recap of what was good the past weekend was the topic, and my ears perked up when 'Waitress' was brought up. Odd, since it was a sports talk show, all guys, but they often veer into movies, dinning places and various entertainment other than sports. Kerri Russell was given high praise, but alas, not a mention for our capt'n. Still, high marks was given for the movie. Goodonya, Nathan!

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss
