REAVERMAN

Hey everybody, Reaverman here. I was wondering if anyone on this site is a follower of (or at least knows quite a bit about) Asatru. I am considering converting, but i'd like to know a little more first.

If anyone could help me out, that would be great.

Bumping, as my personal knowledge of Asatru is confined to what's written in wikipedia

Still, there are loads of Pagans around the board. Someone *must* know a bit about this.

Actually... wikipedia has a bunch of external links you can check out.

Always a good idea.

Gee, I never knew this, but according to Wikipedia, "The United States government does not officially endorse or recognize any religious group."
What about the Catholic Church?

I actually already checked wikipedia. I've read quite a bit of stuff about the history and dynamics of Asatru. I was looking for more personal experiences, though. But thanks for the advice.

I found that a bit strange, too, considering Bush's "Faith Based Initiative" a few years ago, but I digress. I'm treading dangerously close to political discussion. I dont want to get caught in that quagmire right now, so lets just forget I said anything.
