Well I just got home from a long weekend in Burbank CA. What a blast.
Fri: met the last of the original crew, George Takei. The only member I havent met was Deforest Kelly and with his passing I never will. Walter Koenig as well. Robert O'reilly (gowron)tng/ds9, was a riot. That night at a cabaret Walter read the fist three chapters of new novel/screenplay he's working on (sounded good). George sang (he was ok) Nana Visitor sang(good) and Mark Alaimo(ducat)ds9 gave some fans a crash corse in Shakespere. Nana later commented on how well the lady in the middle did. good day
Sat: Previews on som short films Done by Tim Russ(tuvok)voyager. most look well done a couple of the Orion slave girls from Enterprize epp.
Connor Trinner(triptucker)enterprize. Sorry Drives on got distracted. Hes always entertaining.
Marc Alaimo and Nana Visitor (ducat and Maj Kira)ds9 onstage together for the first time. That was a good time
Robert duncan Mcneill(tom paris)voyager took the stage he's moved away from acting and has been directing pretty much full time.
Adian Paul: Duncan Macleod highlander actually pretty funny, women swooned
Tracey Scoggins:lockley b5 all around hottie talked about new b5 lost tales. fans are in for a treat.
Justin Hartly: green arrow smallville he was funny and girls swooned
Matt Frewer: taggart eureka max headroom talented and funny.
James Marsters:Dude had serious energy girls women and a few guys were swooning.
Hayden Panettiere: Claire Heroes. Her flight was delayed due to weather she still came late. We didn't get to get in line for autographs but did get a pic I'll download later. She was so sweet boys and guys swooned.
later that night James put on a 90min concert. Good times dude can rock.
Then the gold members sundae social.
Well on the way to the social I already uploaded the pic Jonathan Woodward dude was easy going and nice. At the social a lot of icecream and booze. I actually came out of my shell and talked with a few people. Never did get a chance to ask Cordelia From england for a picture. Gorgeous girl. Hope to see her again at another con. well Garrett Wang(harry kim)voyager crashed. dude is a riot.
Sun
Day starts off with Katee Sakhoff(starbuck)bsg and Jamie Bamber(apollo) took the stage and a whirlwind storm ensued. Vibrators came up 3 times. halfway through Michael Trucco(sam anderson) and Kate Vernon(ellen tigh) and the storm just got better. At the beginning of the BSG pannel Mark Sheppard sat a couple rows in front of me. met him later friendly and talkable uploaded a picture.
Doug Jones (lotta stuff behind masks)Abe sapien, silver surfer, two characters from pans labarynth. A funny guy tallented to.
Then come the potter boys.
Oliver and James Phelps and Stan Ianevski(weasley twins and viktor krum.) god the girls behind me shieked like mad. day ended with
Colm Meaney(obrien)tng/ds9 cleaver and charming
then again with the James Marsters I got the picture we took the day before autographed. I had contacted an actress I like (non sci-fi related) she was willing to meet but couln't fit into schedule. She offered to mail autographed pic. I hope to be back next year. Awsome weekend
