I know it's just play money, but I'd like to thank whomever it was that posted the link to the Hollywood Stock Exchange. I'm having a lot of fun putting together my portfolio.

Hey, I've made a $243K profit on "Serenity" so far :)

My BiL just phoned me all excited ... "Universal Pictures has just greenlighted "Serenity" ..."

When I told him, 'yep, I've made $274K profit over at HSX on my stock," he cracked up. Then he accused me of keeping secrets by not telling him about the movie when I learned of it.

I told him, "You're not done with the DVD's yet. I figured when you finished them tonight, you'd call all depressed. I was going to tell you at the moment it would bring the greatest joy."

He bought that story *whew!*. Anyway, his wife is asking him to buy a set of DVD's for their household.

Ain't sharing Firefly with family and friends shiny?

My Firefly profit is currently hanging around H$262,000, and I hope to invest more in the near future before it jumps too much higher.

History doesn't always repeat itself. Sometimes it merely shouts "Weren't you listening the first time?!?" and lets fly with a club.

Looks like I got in at a good time -- my stock value has almost doubled -- up 94% (over $800K!)...if only this were real money, imagine how many times I could see the movie...

Ack! I wish I got into this earlier. I made $150,000 profit off FRFLY, and I got max shares and all, but if I had gotten some earlier...
