Is it bad that what she said made perfect sense to me?

I know it will have been up before, but I don't get notified when anyone leaves a comment/rating ... is there something I need to do and haven't? Or is it my browser? Me?

Can anyone help?

It takes all kinds to make the world go ‘round. Unfortunately, some are pedaling in the wrong direction...

I'm sure you've checked the simple things, but here they are. Double-check the e-mail address you entered in your profile. Also, make sure you checked the "notify me when someone responds to my comment" box.

And like you said, check your browser. It could be a security setting involving cookies or somesuch.

Oh wow...it's funny but I have been wondering for ages whether my comments were offputting to ya, Jane0904! Cuz I keep adding to the love being poured out to ya, but nothing!

Yeah...check your profile info out to double check that you have an active e-mail account hooked up to notify you of response and messages. And I got IE7 with a good amount of the protective gear going with little problem. Though maybe you're fully shielded;)

Okay, this is weird. I have the email box, the nom de guerre (alright, alias) box, the homepage, tag and bio box, the signature and the avatar ... but no 'notify me' box! It is me, isn't it?

And BEB ... I really appreciate all of your comments. I find they make me think more about the characters and what I have them do. It's particularly good because, as the author, I know why they're doing something, but from feedback I realise I haven't necessarily made it clear. As a student of creative writing, this is so helpful! So thanks so much! And please ... keep commenting!
