This is a very immodest thread.

I've tried my hand at a CSI/Firefly crossover. (It seemed like a good idea at the time, ok?) It's posted in the Blue Sun Room, 'Viva New Vegas', three chapters so far.

Dunno if it works. But please enjoy it as an honestly meant tribute to my two favourite shows.

Not a fan of crossover or CSI, but I for one am really enjoying it.

Probably because of good writing, good story, and no jarring changes in style.

If i was not mentioned to be a crossover I would have just been clueless. You could have called it an homage :)

Unless that is if those names mean anything.

I'm not much of a crossover fan myself (even less so, now I'm struggling with the gorram thing!) but this one seemed to suggest itself.

Blame Joss Whedon for writing Alien: Resurrection and Gary Dourdan (CSI Warrick Brown) for being in it.

All the names I give characters in my various fics are significant. From Star Trek piss-takes (expendable thugs called 'red shirt' in mandarin) to county names in Georgia (Jayne's kin) plus the odd moon witch-goddess (Ilargia). The nuns are all named from the film 'Black Narcissus', and I left an explanation for the CSI names under ch.1.

I love the internet - you can find information on anything...
