Kaylee Tattoo? (possible spoiler for "The Message")

I was watching "The Message" the other day and noticed what looks a LOT like a tattoo running down Kaylee's spine. You can see it briefly after Mal shoots Tracey and she runs behind Jayne. Looks to me like its a very simular pattern to the one she used to decorate the mess with, flowery vines.

Anyone else notice this? Any chance someone has a better idea what it is? I would love to know what that tat is for sure....just can't get a great view of it on my TV and I have no DVD player on my PC.

I personally think its not Kaylee's at all, but its Jewel's and you're not supposed to really see it. I know a lot of actors have tattoos which they cover up with clever tape and stuff, or leave it out if it wont harm character, like naked Nathan in Trash. I mean Johnny Depp has LOADS of tattoos, even some on his hands, and if you look at Pirates, you cant see any of them at all!!!

That is certainly possible, even likely.

But it's not out of char for Kaylee to have one, IMHO...besides, just think of the possibilites for how she got it in the first place. I can picture them all down planetside getting drunk after a good job (pre-Simon and River, of course) and Jayne daring Kaylee to get a tattoo. I can see that happening.

hmmm....might have to work that up in a fanfic.

Last I read, Jewel has two tattoos. The one on her lower back is a unicorn.

In another episode (I can't remember which) we see the same part of her back as in "The Message" and you couldn't see the tattoo. So either they had been hiding it and then changed their minds or forgot or I missed it. But that tattoo is definitely Jewel's.

I thought I saw she had a tattoo in The Message. When I was watching Jaynestown today I looked the time or two you could see that part of her back and -- no tattoo -- not one I could see anyway.

If she has 2 tattoo's, then that is 2 things she and I have in common. The first being that we're both named "Jewel"

Figures, it seems definate it was an oversight like GeordieSteve203 said...have to admit I was kinda hoping it was Kaylee's...just can't quite see it as a Unicorn though. Ah well, bad as my TV is it's amazing I noticed it at all...

Might still have to write a little Kaylee gets a tattoo piece though...LOL

Jewell, that's pretty cool you and Jewell have so much in common. Well, 3 things actually (I am asumming your female)...OH, and ya both love "Firefly", so that's 4....LOL
